I’ve been telling you for a long time that men are just like us, with many of the same insecurities and fears. As I like to say: Men Are People Too. And who better to hear this from than Man Himself.
I came across this blogger who goes by the name of “The Urban Dater.” He focuses on tips and advice to men, including Why Men Need Female Friends They Don’t Sleep With and Things You Can Learn About a Guy in 3 Dates or Less.
One post in particular caught my attention: Are Men Afraid of Successful and Superior Women? Urbandater tells men to just be themselves, forget their insecurities, and when they’re lucky enough to be with a smart fabulous woman, to just go for it with all they have. (By the way, he does say that smart women ARE fabulous!)
Sound familiar? Isn’t this like what we tell ourselves when we are in fear we’re with someone who is out of our league?
